There are a lot of variables and assumptions but...
Typical savings on a 6kW system are $1,500 per year.
A good 6kW system is about $7,000
The rebate is dropping by 1/14th per year, which contributes to solar getting more expensive year on year.
But the cost of solar is also dropping year on year.
So if you wait a year you could lose:
$1,500 in savings + $200 in rebate reduction
So 6kW of solar would have to reduce in price by at least $1,700 ( 28c per Watt) to break even by waiting for 12 months.

In my opinion this is very unlikely - so I'd recommend getting solar now rather than waiting.
